Following receipt of your online order, the item(s) will be set aside by our team and payment will be accepted. You will then receive an order confirmation email.
The shipment will then be made via Canada Post within 48 hours of receipt of the confirmation email.

Black Diamond - Distance Spike Traction Device
The Distance Spike is our best trail spike. It is designed to move quickly in the mountains, to chain 4000s or achieve an ascent in record time. The Distance Spike features a totally innovative hybrid upper that incorporates a softshell forefoot combined with an elastomer heel support strap. The innovative softshell forefoot is designed for absolute comfort, superior compressibility and snow protection. The design of the forefoot also makes it possible to lighten this crampon to obtain a weight of only 95 grams per unit. Benefiting from our experience in mountaineering crampons, the Distance Spike has 14 spikes. Their optimized length of 8 mm offers excellent penetration on snow and ice, and improved stability on rock and hard surfaces. Stainless steel tips are heat treated to provide superior strength and resistance to corrosion and wear.
