Born from our fit and performance philosophy, the Zero G Peak Carbon is designed to be extremely light and efficient uphill, while maintaining the downhill power and performance you know and expect from a Tecnica boot. Adapted from our experience in the alpine world, the Zero G Peak Carbon uses a semi-overlapped shell design, allowing the boot to better wrap around the foot, which not only increases comfort but dramatically improves downhill performance. A CAS shell and CAS Light liner provide a better anatomical fit right out of the box and allow for slight customization in how you punch or grind - something that until now has been unheard of in this space. A bidirectional carbon fiber plate under the foot reinforces torsional stability and allows better transmission of power to the ski. Additionally, a carbon fiber cuff provides unprecedented strength and stiffness in a hiking boot, and the efficient single-lever T-Hike mechanism allows for maximum walking with a 75-degree range of motion.
